MUSEE DU COSTUME

The museum of the Costume and the Lace of the Town of Brussels, installed since 1977 with a stone jet of the Town square, in two middle- class houses of the beginning of the XVIIIe century, refitted for this purpose, shelters rich person and interesting textile collections. Thus of invaluable laces carried out with the spindles or the needle in our provinces, in France and Italy since the XVIIe century côtoient costumes civil, generally female, and many accessories of mode, essential complements of elegance: linen room, hats, sunshades, ranges, shoes, purses, etc...
