The Museum of the XVIIIe century is sheltered in the palate of Charles of Lorraine, general governor of the Austrian Netherlands of 1744 to 1780. This palate was built since 1757 with the site of the old hotel of Nassau. There remains about it a frontage of finishing style rubble whose decorative elements are the?uvre of Laurent Delvaux.
